Larry Hyman's licensing and transactional experience includes: 

-  negotiating a $4 million Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with a national laboratory on behalf of a public company;

-  negotiating a license to technology from two universities for a start-up biotechnology company;

-  preparing a successful request for a waiver of U.S. manufacturing requirements for a Federal grantee;

-  drafting a contract for chemical synthesis services between an American company and a Russian research institute;

-  drafting model CDAs and MTAs for a small pharmaceutical company;

-  drafting license terms for a large pharmaceutical company;

-  advising a university on whether new work from the laboratory of an inventor fell within the scope of a previously negotiated license;

-  counseling a government agency on the interpretation of license terms for a biologic therapeutic;

-  negotiating with a licensee in default on behalf of an Australian university's commercialization company;

-  negotiating with a company on behalf of an inventor of an inhaled therapeutic;

-  negotiating with a multinational company on behalf of a holder of patents on water purification technology;

-  assisting a company in its sale of patents and trademarks pertaining to its reagents business;

-  advising a patentee on licensing strategy for patents on enzymes for digesting cellulose; and,

-  advising a university on terms and strategy in negotiating a license to a portfolio of applications on preserving cells.
